Article selected shun-hong wang and general situation of China NingJiMing editions of the exercises as the research object,by China general curriculum idea as the research core,comparative examination topic quantity in the textbook exercises based on the theory of writing and the theory of classify education objects,the scientific nature of the topic and content design summarized how to set the textbook exercises and textbook compilation meet user needs.Providing reference and help for the compilation of textbook exercises in the future.Through the analysis of the research data,the following conclusions are drawn:First,there are obvious differences in the setting of exercises in the two textbooks.The edition of Ning's textbook has a rich amount of questions,and pays attention to students' repeated about memorization and application of the knowledge they have learned,which reflects the gradual process from short-term memory to long-term memory,and is extremely beneficial for learners to review the knowledge they have learned.The edition of Wang's has few teaching material practice and question quantity setting,therefore its editor's question quantity setting consciousness and the edition of Ning's is relatively weak.Second,the exercises in the two textbooks focus on the fixity of question types and ignore the diversity of question types.Both ‘Ning's version' and ‘Wang's version'focus on texting learners' cognition of the knowledge through the main question type,but ignore the fun that the secondary question type can bring to learners.Third,although the types of cognitive processes involved in the exercises in the two textbooks are consistent with the teaching purposes of the textbooks,their arrangement and distribution are different.Based on the type of memory and cognition,The edition of Ning's set the questions from easy to difficult,gradually deepen the difficult and guides students to expand their knowledge of the text.The edition of Wang's focuses on the understanding of cognitive types and texting students' linking and understanding of knowledge,but the arrangement of cognitive process types is rather messy and does not follow the gradual process of cognitive development.Fourthly,the two textbooks are lack of experiential and cross-cultural design.Both textbooks focus on the investigation of students' native Chinese knowledge,ignoring the role of experiential and cross-cultural test questions in strengthening students' memory of cultural knowledge.The above research results show that there are still some deficiencies in the setting of general textbooks about overview of China.And the quantity,type and content design of exercises in textbooks may have a negative impact on learners' learning of cultural knowledge in textbooks.In the future,more attention should be paid to the scientific design and pertinence of the question quantity,question type and content in the compilation of general Chinese teaching materials for TCSL.
