Exercise plays a huge role in teaching Chines as a second language,and the research on exercise of textbook is also of great importance.Reading related information,we find that much emphasis on the exercise of textbook has been laid by lots of scholars,but the depth and width are limited.Given that,the research on exercise of textbook still remains anew in teaching Chinese as a second language.This paper deals with two intermediate Chinese comprehensive textbooks,which are widely used.Via statistics and comparison,and on the basis of some relative theory and the wisdom of previous scholars,the author investigate and analyze the exercise used in the two textbooks.The attention are separately given on the following four parts,including the quantity,the style,the content and the arrangement of the exercise.In conclusion,we put forward some suggestion on the exercise of the the two textbooks,hoping to raise the attention on the design and arrangement of the exercise.
