Chinese spoken discourse markers exist in daily life with high frequencies. For speakers of other language, their proper use of Chinese spoken discourse markers will affect their Chinese expression directly. This paper selected and researched 20 spoken discourse markers from the textbook Chinese Listening and Speaking Course which is made for middle-level Chinese learners. At first, this paper introduced the arrangement of this textbook after research and analysis;then this paper used questionnaire and recording analysis in order to know more about those Chinese learners' acquisition towards Chinese spoken discourse markers.Through the analysis on research data, the main results revealed as follows:(1)The textbook pays more attention to introduce spoken discourse markers of textual function.Spoken discourse markers exist as the main teaching focus in this textbook, but they are with unequal distributions and relatively low repetition rates. The introduction and explanation about all spoken discourse markers are not comprehensive and concrete. The demonstration of example sentences and practice forms tends to be oversimplified.(2)In actual use,the middle-level Chinese learners are inclined to use spoken discourse markers of textual function to connect discourses. They will continuously link two different spoken discourse markers in the process of communication when they want to express their opinions. However,we found that their use of spoken discourse markers involves some errors, including wrong substitution errors, wrong adding errors and omission errors. This paper analyzed the causes of these errors and put forward on some suggestions about how to improve textbook compilation and Chinese teaching and learning. And we believe these suggestions are meaningful for the improvement of Chinese spoken discourse markers' teaching.
