Since its introduction into China,sports dance has been widely welcomed by all walks of life and has achieved good development.Since the mid-1990 s,sports dance has entered the university.Sports dance programs have been favored and sought after by many college students because of their unique sports characteristics.Many colleges and universities have listed sports dance as a compulsory course for students to meet the needs of students.Similarly,many colleges and universities have also adopted sports dance as an elective course to meet students' choices about the diversity of elective courses.This study is based on 17 colleges and universities offering sports dance elective courses in Hubei Province.The literature method,questionnaire survey method,Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process are used to evaluate the sports dance elective courses of Hubei Province.The basic research on the use of strength,teaching materials and syllabus,the setting of class time,the use of teaching methods and the equipment of the venue,and the construction of the quality evaluation index system of sports dance elective courses in Hubei Province.Concluded as follow:1.The development of sports dance elective courses in higher education institutions in Hubei Province needs further improvement.Through the survey of teachers and students of colleges and universities offering 17 sports dance elective courses in Hubei Province: In terms of faculty,the sports dance teachers of higher education institutions in Hubei Province showed a large deficiency in the level of associate professors;however,they showed a relatively balanced status at the academic level and the number of coaching years.In terms of class settings,there are differences in the situation of each university.There are more colleges with a duration of 45 minutes,while colleges and universities have more than 36 college hours,and theoretical courses are mostly in 2 classes.In the use of elective course materials,most colleges and universities will use the corresponding textbooks according to the actual situation of the school.There is no unified use of a certain type of textbooks;and the 17 colleges and universities surveyed have the syllabus of sports dance elective courses.In the formulation of the outline,the main reference factors are the needs of the market and the requirements of social development.Among the elective courses,the most professors are Lombard,Slow III,and Slow Four.In the auxiliary teaching content,the most used teaching materials are ballet and jazz.The most used teaching methods are repeated.Practice method,explanation model method,circulation practice method and method of teaching students according to their aptitude;the most used by the teachers in the teaching method is a teacher to teach alone;the most used assessment method is the independent evaluation by the instructor.In terms of training venues and equipment,there are more colleges with indoor professional dance training rooms,and universities that use multimedia equipment for teaching are also in the forefront.Students have different levels of understanding of sports dance elective courses,and there are many ways to understand them.Students are most satisfied with the technical level of teachers,the teaching content of sports dance and the evaluation methods of sports dance elective courses.2.On the basis of summarizing and analyzing the current situation of the sports dance elective course in Hubei Province,follow the guiding principles and construction principles of the index system,and consult the relevant experts and professors to organize the data and use the analytic hierarchy process.The method is to obtain the evaluation index system of the quality of sports dance elective courses in Hubei Province,including four first-level indicators: curriculum,teaching,teachers,students,and 21 courses,syllabus,teacher assessment and ideology.Secondary indicators.After the first round of expert consultation,20 secondary indicators were obtained.After the second round of investigation and consultation,the secondary indicators of ideology and morality were added,reflecting the unique role of the course in ideological and moral education.3.The determination of the weighting coefficient of the constructed indicator system makes the indicator system more prominent and more distinctive.The weighting coefficient of the first-level indicator course is 0.134;the weighting coefficient of teaching is 0.371;the weight coefficient of the teacher is 0.297;the weight coefficient of the student is 0.198;and the weighting coefficient of 21 secondary indicators is also assigned.4.This indicator system provides a scientific basis for the setting,implementation,effect evaluation and teaching assessment of sports dance elective courses,which is conducive to guiding the growth and development of teachers and students,and is helpful to systematically evaluate the quality and system of sports dance elective courses.It has certain positive effects on improving the rationality of sports dance elective courses and the quality of students' training.
