This article is a study of the ideological content of Xu Heng's book Lu Zhai Xin Fa.In the research field of Chinese philosophy history,Yuan Dynasty has not been the focus of research. However,in the whole study of Song,Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties,Neo-Confucianism in Yuan Dynasty was in a special historical position.Yuan Dynasty thought plays an important role in the cultural inheritance between Song and Ming Dynasties. However,Xu Heng and Wu Cheng are known as the two great Confucian scholars of the Yuan Dynasty. The Yuan people are known as " Xu Heng in the north and Wu Cheng in the south",which shows their important position in the ideological circle at that time.Xu Heng's Neo-Confucianism was basically inherited from Cheng Zhu's Neo-Confucianism.Neo-Confucians generally emphasize " reason" and take objective reason as the object. In Neo-Confucianism,there is not much research on " mental method",while Xu Heng takes " mental method" as the topic,so " Lu Zhai mental method" has a special status in Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism and thus has certain research significance. The academic research on this book is almost blank, and the materials available for reference are very limited.I know very well that Lu Zhai Xin Fa is an important material for studying Xu Heng's personal speech and thoughts, and it is of great significance to supplement and perfect the study of Xu Heng Thought.Through combing the contents of the text and combining with other writings of Xu Heng, this paper gives a comprehensive and systematic explanation from the theoretical basis and logic on how Xu Heng solves the problems of " human heart and moral heart"," learning from facts" and " knowing and doing".
