The sea gives birth to human life and breeds the human civilization.The ocean is magnificent,majestic and unpredictable,which make human fascinated and regard the ocean as a symbol of freedom,meanwhile marine operation also are regarded as a performance of perseverance and pioneering spirit.Chinese culture contains rich and colorful Marine culture,and Fujian plays an extremely important role in it.Fujian has twisting coastlines and many islands,and it lies in a traffic fortress in the East China Sea and the South China Sea.And Fujian was once the starting point of the Maritime Silk Road and Zheng He's voyages,and a maritime trade distribution center,so the coastal area of Fujian is deeply influenced by marine culture.Nowadays,Fujian has gradually become the important window and bridge for all countries to understand China under the background of the "Belt and Road" Initiative.Painting is an important part of culture----Fujian's painting art is influenced by many cultural forms,and the influence of marine culture is the most profound,presenting its compatibility and innovation.With the development and popularization of oil paintings,a large number of painters and works with local characteristics also emerge in the Fujian.The paper takes the Fujian marine culture as an entry point to discuss the painting characteristics and theme of the southeastern coastal area of Fujian under the influence of marine culture,reflecting the influence of contemporary Fujian marine culture on the oil paintings in Fujian.
