Research On The Promotion Of Chinese Cultural Soft Power

Cultural Soft Power plays an important role to reflect a country's internal cohesiveness and external attraction,which is also a key factor to display the Comprehensive National Power.First of all,this paper through the definition of the concept of cultural soft power,cultural soft power components,characteristics and forms of expression,and on this basis to demonstrate the strategic significance of cultural soft power for national development.Today,in the context of globalization,strong cultural soft power can resist the shock of various Western thoughts and ideolo gies,safeguarding our national security.And while international competition becomes increasingly fierce nowadays,cultural soft power can improve the country's overall national power and enhance the discourse power in the world,to create a good internat ional image.China is still the largest socialist country in the world,adhering to the ultimate goal of communism.The development of cultural soft power in China is conducive to promote the comprehensive quality of the people,to make continuous steps to the target of communism.Secondly,this paper proposes the achievements and challenges in the process of building the culture soft power of socialist with Chinese characteristics.In the process of China's cultural construction,outstanding achievements have been made in the development of cultural soft power,and periodic achievements have been made in cultural undertakings and industries.China's cultural influence is growing.Confucius institutes are all over the world.However,China still faces various challenges in building the cultural soft power based on socialism with Chinese characteristics.Some western voices,such as “universal value" theory and "the end of history" theory,have found their ways to enter China,shaking the foundations of our beli ef and bringing difficult challenges,and as a result,the mainstream ideology in our country is weakened,which can give birth to a crisis of faith and morality.At the same time,under the long-time influence of petty-farmer consciousness imprinted in traditional Chinese culture,it is difficult for the people to update their thoughts.And due to our short development history in cultural industries,the culture boundaries are ambiguous and the transformation and upgrading is slow,which has limited the a bility to promote our cultural soft power.In addition,the overall culture quality of our people is still at a low level,which is also an obstacle to develop the cultural soft power.To address these problems,we need professional personnel to propose corresponding solutions to achieve a sustainable development of cultural soft power in China.At last,In this paper,the author will propose corresponding solutions against the existing problems in the construction of cultural soft power based on socialism w ith Chinese characteristics.In the process of fostering and practicing Core Socialist Values,we must unswervingly insist on Marxist ideology,to deepen reforms along the direction of socialism.We must trace the roots of Chinese traditional culture and integrate the merits into the modernization of cultural industries to further the development of our cultural soft power and spread it into our daily life.We must continue the reforms in cultural system with great courage and determination,to achieve shar ed development in public welfare culture and mainstream cultural industries.We must persist the strategy to develop education and science technology,and through the promotion the national ideological and moral education as well as the scientific advances to accelerate the improvement of the overall cultural quality of our people.We must make the best of the Internet as the new medium,to strengthen the innovation in mainstream ideological theory and establish talent teams to promote the mainstream ideological thoughts.The development of cultural soft power is important for our country,and we believe its unique advantages will help us achieve better socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics.
