In recent years, the continuous development of cognitive science has provided a new perspective for leadership research, and more and more researchers have combined leadership with cognitive science.Previous studies have found that leadership levels are significantly correlated with emotional ability and inhibition control which play an extremely important role in risk decision-making.In daily life and study, leaders face a variety of decisions, and decision-making ability is an important manifestation of leadership. As the elite of the society, college students are the main force of social progress, and their leadership ability also affects their behavioral activities, learning performance and professional ability. The previous researches on the leadership of college students mostly stayed at the level of scale research, and researches on behavior level, especially decision level, were less involved. In order to explore the behavioral characteristics of college students with different leadership levels in risk decision-making ability, this study adopts the Student Leadership Practices Inventory(SLPI)to screen the subjects, and selected 35 college students with high leadership level and 33 college students with low leadership level. The selected subjects are then measured for behavior. The experimental paradigm is the risk decision-making ultimatum game(UG)under uncertainty and the risk decision-making Iowa gambling task(IGT)under certainty.According to the behavior results,it is indicated:(1)Experiment 1 shows that college students with high leadership level and those with low leadership level have a significant interaction in different programs. With the increase of fairness, the acceptance rate of both groups is also increasing. In the fairness analysis of group differences, the acceptance rate of high group is significantly higher than that of low group in the unfair program(8,2)and the sub-unfair program(7,3),and the difference is significant in the unfair program(8,2).In the rest of programs, the difference between the two groups is not significant.(2)Experiment 2 shows that college students with high leadership level and those with low leadership level have significant effect between blocks in Iowa gambling task, and there is a significant interaction between the subjects in different blocks. In the case of IGT scores, the IGT scores of the high and low groups increased significantly with time, and the scores of high group in the five groups are higher than those of low group. There is a significant difference in the scores of the second block between two groups. In the other blocks, the scores of high group are still higher than those of low group but do not reach a significant level.Research conclusions: The result of two experiments in college students with different leadership levels shows that college students with high leadership level have differences in the characteristics of risk decision-making ability. In the face of unfair decision-making,those can suppress negative emotions and make decisions rationally.College students with low leadership level are weaker in negative emotion suppression, and are more susceptible to emotional interference in the face of unfair decision-making,making it difficult to make rational decisions.College students with high leadership level are better than those with low leadership level in their cognitive competence of unfavorable experience, and they are better in learning ability for decision-making tasks.
