Korean Literati's Understanding Of Zhejiang Learning In Ming And Qing Dynasties

In the Ming and Qing Dynasties,Korean literati examined the Zhejiang Learning from the standpoint of Zhuzi study.Their descriptions and comments on the Zhejiang Learning in the Southern Song Dynasty are a replica of Zhu Xi's criticism of "Zhe Xue".For the Yangming study in the Ming Dynasty,they continued the criticism of Lu Jiuyuan from Zhu Xi.After the demise of the Ming Dynasty,they cognized and criticized the continuation and over-development of Yangming study in Zhejiang in the Ming Dynasty.At that time,the spirit of righteousness advocated by Zhuzi study had become another perspective for Korean literati to examine Zhejiang learning.They paid special attention to the spirit of righteousness of the Zhejiang literati in this period,and cognized the changes of Zhejiang Yangming study represented by Liu Zongzhou and Huang Zongxi on the basis of it,In the Qing Dynasty,they had different perceptions of Zhejiang learning.On the one hand,the idea of the practical learning represented by the northern school was emerging in Korea.The Korean literati have a new understanding of Zhejiang Learning.On the other hand,the changes in Zhejiang learning namely the rise of Zhuzi study and the rise of Sinology had been learned by Korean literati,which undoubtedly gave them a new understanding of Zhejiang Learning.Korean literatim's descriptions and comments on the Zhejiang Learning always have more or less divergence from Zhuzi study.The obvious heresy of Zhejiang Learning makes it difficult for Koreans who are adhering to Zhuzi study to accept it.However,this is precisely the spirit of Zhejiang Learning and the inadequacy of Korean Confucianism in the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
