Research On Youth Movement In Wenchow(1919-1949)

The Wenchou Youth Movement during the Neo-Civilism period,as part of the national youth movement,has gone through 30 years of hardships from 1919 to 1949.During these 30 years,Wenchou youths have carried out a series of struggles for national independence and national liberation,demonstrating the struggle of Wenchou youth.Recalling history and exploring the source,the rise and development of the Wenchou youth movement is the result of multiple factors.In response to the call of the May Fourth Movement,the youth forces in Wenchou have emerged as a leader,and in the process of growing up,they have gradually become a force to be promoted in the development of the democratic movement in southern Zhejiang.In 1924,the Wenchou Independent Branch was established.Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China,Wenchou youth held high the banner of patriotism,followed the development of the national situation and promoted the continuous rise of the Wenchou revolutionary situation.And Shanghai,which is experienced in the democratic movement,also provides Wenchou with the experience of youth sports and promotes the vigorous development of the Wenchou youth movement.AlthoughWenchou is not the center of the national youth movement,the youth movement in Wenchou has also shown distinct characteristics.In general,the Wenchou Youth Movement from 1919 to 1949 followed the development of the national situation and echoed the national youth movement.In the course of the operation,young students are in charge and promote the development of the revolutionary process.Under the influence of young students,the broad masses of the people have invested in the movement,supported the development of the youth movement,and laid the mass foundation for the youth movement.Specifically,the Wenchou Youth Movement in each period presents different characteristics.The Wenchou Youth Movement in the new-democratic period not only carried out an ideological baptism for the Wenchou people,but also raised the ideological consciousness of the Wenchou people,and cultivated the revolutionary backbone for Wenchou and promoted the peaceful liberation of Wenchou.In the past 30 years,Wenchou youth have been brave and have had an important impact in every period.
