Research On Liu Jizhuang's Commentary On Zuozhuan

Commentary On Zuozhuan is an ancient prose anthology of commentary on The Spring and Autumn Annals in the early Qing Dynasty.This book was published in the 45th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty(1706).The author Liu Jizhuang is unknown,but the academic circle generally believes that Liu Jizhuang was a scholar at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty,Liu Xianting.However,the discussion in this book is very different and profound.Analyzing its grammar has high theoretical value.This article mainly analyzes Commentary On Zuozhuan from the perspective of commentary,and the article includes two books:Part ? and Part ?.Part i is a comprehensive study of Commentary On Zuozhuan,which is divided into five chapters:The first chapter discusses the author and background of Commentary On Zuozhuan.On the author's question,I believe that Liu Jizhuang is probably Liu Xianting through the comparison of the birth and death year of Liu Xianting and the writing time of Commentary On Zuozhuan?the comparison of Liu Xianting's thoughts and the theme of Commentary On Zuozhuan?the discussion of Liu Xianting's friends,and the comparison of Liu Xianting and Liu Jizhuang's disciples.As for the background of the times,Commentary On Zuozhuan was written against the background of the prevailing trend of practical study and the trend of criticism to The Spring and Autumn Annals.The second chapter analyzes the comment purport and method of Commentary On Zuozhuan.First,Liu Jizhuang commented The Spring and Autumn Annals from the perspective of the world,mainly in refining the principle of being a master and a minister from historical events.Second,Liu Jizhuang used comparative methods to comment on the contents or structures of The Spring and Autumn Annals,which helps to deeply understand and grasp The Spring and A utumn Annals.The third chapter analyzes Commentary On Zuozhuan from the perspective of The article study.Liu Jizhuang,influenced by the current literature,attached great importance to revealing the techniques of The Spring and Autumn Annals's articles.The beauty of composition lies in good color design,which is mainly reflected in the analysis of the methods of guest-host,false or true--the actual situation and the response.The beauty of syntax lies in the compound inflexion,which is mainly reflected in the application of other sentence patterns such as similar sentences,double sentences and short sentences.The beauty of the word method lies in the method of refining words,which is mainly embodied in the analysis of purposive words and subtle words.The fourth chapter discusses the commentary characteristics of Commentary On Zuozhuan.Commentary On Zuozhuan was written in the heyday of The Spring and Autumn Annals's commentary.It has both commonness and individuality.Overall,it has three main characteristics:more things than papers,advocating ancient prose,and not following others.The fifth chapter discusses the value and deficiency of Commentary On Zuozhuan.The officials of the Fourth Library had a low evaluation of Commentary On Zuozhuan,and thought that there seemed to be something wrong in it.The value of Commentary On Zuozhuan includes three aspects:providing reference for the construction and improvement of ancient literary theory;proposing some novel insights;providing self-cultivation for future generations.The deficiencies are mainly manifested in two aspects:some comments are too arbitrary and there are mistakes in the selection.Part ? is a compilation of clip reviews of Liu Jizhuang's Commentary On Zuozhuan,which is the documentary basis of the comprehensive research.There is no punctuation in Commentary On Zuozhuan.Part ? mainly punctuate the parts that have not been sorted so far,including all the clip reviews and four tail reviews.They are arranged in the order of the original book,that is,the order of the twelve countries of Lu,divided into eight volumes.
