The Commentary on the Chinese Communist Party and the Civil Corps in 1920s and 1930s-The Study on the Rural Revolution in Changing Power Distribution This essay chiefly discusses the relationship between the Chinese Communist Party and the Civil Corps, and its historical influence on the process of rural transform in China. The basic clue through it is the main policies and strategies which the Chinese Communist Party adopted to the Civil Corps.Growing from the decline of the state power, the Civil Corps functioned as a paramilitary organization safeguarding the power network and the system of taxes and levies in the country. With the rising of the peasant movement led by the Chinese Communist Party, the Civil Corps did their utmost to maintain the losing power and interests. These undulating contradiction and struggles formed a general picture of the rural change in 1920s and 1930s. As a military force serving landlords and squires, the Civil Corps attempted to preventing the countryside from transforming. However, in the other hand, they speeded up this process unconsciously. This was because their comparatively backward weapons and organization pattern were not enough to repress revolutionary force, on the contrary, their resistance stimulated the political unity between the Chinese Communist Party and the awakening peasants. In a word, it can be said that the Civil Corps had affected the political situation and accelerated the process of society transform in the rural areas, together with the Chinese Communist Party.
