Walter Niemann's Piano Suite "Alt China","The Finale-The Banquet In The Garden" Musical Ontology And Performance Techniques

As early as the seventeenth century,Western musicians brought Chinese music materials back to the West.In the 18th century,the Western style of the piano appeared in the Western style.In the 19th century,Chinese music elements continued to appear in Western piano music.After entering the twentieth century,the "Chinese elements" in Western piano works have not only been further enriched in the subject area,but also the music language field has been greatly enriched.Walter Niemann's "Alt China" is the early 20th century.A typical work of Western "Chinese style" piano works.The pupose of this paper is to understand how Western composers skillfully incorporated Chinese musical style into Western piano works in the early 20th century by studying Walter Niemann's piano "The Finale-The Banquet in the Garden".First of all,through the exploration of music ontology and playing techniques,we can understand how Western musicians used the Chinese freehand technique to create piano works with Chinese sound effects in the early 20th century,and realized the musical personality and aesthetic characteristics in the works.Secondly,from the perspective of my performance,the analysis of the performance part of the music,through the analysis of octave and skipping specific technical methods,the use of pedals,etc.,provides a basis for accurate understanding and performance of the work,and also adds to the creation of Western musicians.The study of Chinese style "piano works.Finally,through the study of Western "Chinese style" piano works,it is better to interpret the "Chinese style" of piano works.The Chinese and Western music exchanges combine the elements of Chinese music,Chinese music aesthetics,Chinese music sound effects,etc.Western music has promoted the international development of Chinese national music.
