In the twenty-first century,the rapid development of information technology provides more convenient and effective teaching condition for the teaching reform of business English in vocational colleges.In the era of change,flipped classroom as a new teaching method which provides a new way for the reform of English teaching mode.The study aims to discuss the application of flipped class in Business English Reading.Firstly,through the literature review to understand the relevant theoretical background knowledge,and lay the theoretical foundation on the follow-up empirical research.By using the experimental method and the method of combining interviews,the author has carried out one semester practice study on the implementation of the "flipped classroom" teaching model in business English reading.The research choose the third grade students of business English major as the research object.Through the questionnaire survey analysis we know the characteristics and learning needs of the students'.According to the characteristics of vocational students,combined with the Business English Reading training objectives,we began to design teaching content,teaching resources,teaching activities and evaluation of flipped classroom.After design finished,the study based on WeChat and QQ platform for network learning environment,build e-learning courses,carry out two rounds of teaching practice for two chapters of the book,and then according to the project implementation and investigation,the application effect.The study found that the application of flipped classroom in Business English Reading can develop students' autonomous learning ability effectively and focus on students' individual differences better so as to improve the students' reading ability and effect of classroom teaching.Research suggest: flipped classroom in application of "Business English Reading",we must solve the design problems,during the implementation process,attention should be laid on the differences of students' individuality,independent learning ability and the curricular and extracurricular teaching.Teachers and students have complementary interaction so as to improve the business English reading quality effectively.
