The Research On The Media In Michael Haneke's Films

As a master film director from Austria,Michael Haneke is known around the world movies circle because of his unique artistic style.Haneke is good at using all kinds of media and media materials,and he can find multiple utility of media in content and form,which has been his trademark.The thesis takes Haneke's films as the research object,using text analysis,and aims to sort out usages of media in Haneke's films.There are three chapters in the text.The first chapter analyses the narrative function of media,from three dimensions of narrative perspective,narrative space and narrative method.The second chapter analyses the shaping of figures through media,from three dimensions of character psychology,character situation and character props.The third chapter analyses the construction of audio-visuallanguage through media,from three dimensions of "frame within frame"composition,soundscape and montage.Taking "media used in films" as a cut-in point,the thesis conducts academic research on the former theme through Haneke's films,which can provide enlightenment for the usage of media in Chinese films.
