ABB-Style Color Adjectives With A As "Black" And "White" And Their Acquisition Error

ABB-style color adjectives are widely used and frequently used in real life,but it is difficult to understand because foreign students have less contact in daily study and life.ABB-type adjectives are one of the important forms of adjective overlap,while ABB-style color adjectives belong to a class of ABB-style adjective structures.Compared with other adjectives,ABB has special structural features and grammatical features.Particularity is mainly manifested in the nature of A,the nature of BB,and the way in which ABB-type adjectives are formed.A's part of speech can be adjectives,nouns,verbs,etc.;in terms of speech,B's tone is different from ABB's BB's pronunciation;the cultural differences of "black" and "white" colors have an impact on foreign students' mastery of such color words.I conducted a questionnaire survey on students of Chinese proficiency above the intermediate level.On this basis,I got the type of bias of ABB-style color adjectives: structural bias,grammatical bias and pragmatic bias,and analyzed the causes of bias.Finally,the theoretical knowledge obtained above is applied to practice,and suggestions for textbook writing and classroom teaching are put forward.At the same time,it is hoped that it can help international students to master ABB-style color words more quickly and use them in life.
