| As a special group of colleges and universities,poor college students have always been the concern of educational researchers.The number of poor college students is large in China,and there are many problems of lack of self-confidence.The lack of self-confidence is the main psychological problem of poor college students,but self-confidence.Lack of self-evaluation will lead to a series of psychological manifestations such as reduced self-evaluation,negative,avoidance,and sensitivity.In severe cases,it may even affect the healthy development of their academic and personality.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the level of self-confidence of poor college students and develop relevant programs to improve their self-confidence.This study consists of two parts.The study combines predecessors’ research and uses the Youth Student Self-Confidence Questionnaire to investigate and analyze the self-confidence of 630 poor college students.The second study is based on the research of Research 1.Group,control group)× 3(pre-test,post-test,follow-up test)experimental design,40 subjects were subjected to 10 weeks of experimental intervention.All the subjects were randomly divided into two groups,each group consisting of 20 subjects.The experimental group used group psychological counseling to improve their self-confidence,and the control group did not carry out any treatment.The two groups received a self-confidence test before the intervention,at the end of the intervention,and three months after the intervention.In addition,the study evaluated the effects of self-confidence interventions through individual sensibility evaluations of group members and overall feedback from group members.The results of the study are as follows:(1)The self-confidence level of poor college students is at a medium level overall,in which confidence and interpersonal self-confidence are at a medium-to-high level,and self-confidence,self-confidence,and self-confidence are at a medium-lower level;(2)The level of self-confidence of poor college students was significantly different between grades and majors(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in other demographic variables(P>0.05).(3)Self-confidence group counseling has a significant effect on improving the self-confidence level of poor college students.The specific performance was that the scores of the experimental group members were significantly higher than those of the control group(P<0.05)in terms of total score and coping with self-confidence,quality self-confidence,interpersonal self-confidence and achievement self-confidence.(4)Self-confidence group counseling has a certain sustained effect on improving the self-confidence level of poor college students.Specifically,in the overall confidence level and achievement self-confidence,coping self-confidence,quality self-confidence and interpersonal self-confidence,the scores of the experimental group members in the follow-up test were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.05).(5)Through the analysis of the effect of group counseling,the pertinence and rigor of the self-confidence group counseling program and the high group participation of the experimental members are important reasons for the effective experimental intervention. |
