The Research Of Self-confidence By The Relationship Of Self-image Evaluation Survey In College Students

Objective:In recent years, there is a growing trend about the study of self-image abroad, but just a few relevant researches in our country. At present, a few domestic researchers began to conduct their study on the research of self-confidence by the impact of self-image. However, research systems and theories are still at the early stage for the present. What's more, there was no research about the relationship between self-image evaluation and confidence, and proposing intervention theory and measures. This research focuses on to investigate the evaluation of the self-image of Jiangxi students and self-confidence by the impact of self-image evaluation were exploration and analysis based on this issue.Methods:This research selected 292 college students who from freshmen to master students of four schools randomly in Jiangxi. And this research mainly adopted SIS (Self-image Scale) and PEI (Personal Evaluation Inventory), to observed the differences of health, physical appearance and final adjudication in the self-image scale and the overall self-confidence, love, study, sports, appearance, reciprocity and talk to each other of PEI scale in college students. To doing the correlation analysis between 3 groups of self-image scale and the overall confidence of PEI scale.Conclusion:(1) From the point of view of the varied dimensions of self-image showed that there was no significant difference in the way of gender, working experience and different subjects. Physical appearance was significant difference in the way of students'family locations, different universities. And final adjudication was significant difference in the way of grade.(2) From the dimension of confidence, sports dimension was significant difference in the way of gender, different subjects; the overall self-confidence, love and stochastic was significant difference in the way of working experience; the love and appearance was significant difference in the way of different universities; the overall self-confidence, love, talk, sports and appearance was significant difference in the way of family locations; the love, stochastic and study was significant difference in the way of grades.(3)This research showed that there was a significant correlation between college students' self-image evaluation and self-confidence. And physical appearance and physical health is the level of the main factors of individual self-confidence. On the whole, the higher self-image evaluation that those individuals have, the more confidence they can get. And they can also feel that positive evaluation of external image and internal image can bring a high level of confidence.
