As a border area of the Qing Empire,Taiwan has a different form of farming society that has been stable for thousands of years. In general,Taiwanese society is still mobile and full of vitality.Taiwan has recently been developed, and immigrants have been moving in.There are always immigrants who have made their fortunes through the reclamation of wasteland, and the social class has moved up.As a unique“migration society”,its social hierarchy has not been consolidated.Although Taiwan and the mainland system are basically the same, due to the lack of time for the Qing government to lead and the extension of the government, the difference between the mainland and the mainland is that the government at the grassroots level is more dependent on local forces, and local forces have played a more important role than mainland in China. As for the division of power within the local stratum,Taiwan also presents a state of disparity from that of the mainland.A large amount of historical data shows that in the grassroots social governance of Taiwan in the Qing Dynasty, due to the late implementation of the imperial examination system, the lack of culture and education, and the characteristics of the moving society, the social power of the Taiwanese gentry was relatively weak in the larger land areas. The government is more dependent on the semi-official township, commercialized nature of the tenants, the long-term,the long-term,the local government and other social forces to carry out the daily management of the local society, which has become a common situation in Taiwan. On the eve of the province's construction, most of Taiwan's areas have been basically developed, and the transformation of the socially-settling society has beencompleted. The small and medium-sized areas of Taipei, especially the Hsinchu area, are still undergoing a process of transformation. The government strongly promoted the withdrawal of the Qing government. In the process of this transformation, the original government-household dual governance system was gradually broken, forming a government-rancher.The composition of the forces formed a new dynamic balance. The rise and fall of the three “civil” forces, such as the rancher, the Prime Minister ' s Prime Minister, and other business groups, the governor, and the Pizhang(the man who control the water),profoundly reflected the dramatic changes in Taiwan's society.
