Li Yanzhang's Poetry Creation And Literary Activities

Li Yanzhang(1794-1836),the character Lanqing and Zewen,is named Banyan Garden.People from Houguan County,Fuzhou Prefecture,Fujian Province(now Minhou County,Fuzhou City,Fujian Province).During Jia Daoguang's reign,the famous poets,educators,stone painters and calligraphers were also well-known ministers.Their life works were mainly included in the Complete Works of Banyan Garden.At that time,he and Lin Zexu and Liang Zhangju were known as the three outstanding people in Fujian.He was talented and well-read,so he was young and ambitious.He won the bachelor's exam in the 16 th year of Jiaqing,but failed in the first place.After entering Beijing,he worshipped under Su Zhai Men and became Weng Fanggang's proud disciple in his later years.After Weng's death,he succeeded in incense and inherited his teacher's literary activities of "Life for Song Dynasty".Year after year,he never stopped,which made the atmosphere of Zong and Song Dynasty continue.During his stay in Beijing,he also participated in Xuannan Poetry Club,learned the thought of practical use,and met many famous poets who had great influence on the poetry world at that time.It also had a great influence on his poetry creation and his works in the period of foreign officials.Li Yanzhang has successively served as cabinet envoy in Zhongshu,Zhangjing Military Aircraft,examiner in Jiangxi,cabinet reading,Sienzhifu,Jiangsu Changzhen Tonghai River Military Affairs Reserve Road,Jiangsu according to the inspector and other posts,and then transferred to Shandong Salt Envoy,did not go to a new post,no holidays,died in May of that year.Li Yanzhang was an important poet who could not be surmounted in the study of Jiadaoguang period.However,for a long time,academic circles have paid more attention to Li Yanzhang's political achievements,but lacked in a thorough and systematic study of his poet identity.This paper attempts to analyze and study Li Yanzhang's life thoughts,poetry creation and literary activities comprehensively and systematically,in order to restore his position in the poetry circle of Jiadaoguang period and achieve the function of supplementing history.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which combs the current academic research situation of Li Yanzhang,aiming to explain the necessity ofstudying Li Yanzhang's poetry and literary activities.The second part examines and analyses Li Yanzhang's family background,official deeds and thoughts.By deconstructing his family,we can see that Li Yanzhang's achievements in literature and politics are closely related to the influence of his scholarly family.At the same time,through the analysis,we can see that the thought of "harmony between Han and Song Dynasty" and "practicing the world for practical purposes" guided its career as an official and achieved good results.The third part is to explore Li Yanzhang's poetry creation,from the aspects of poetry stages,poetry content,poetry origin,poetry thought and so on.It concludes that his poems not only focus on knowledge as the root,but also on the expression of temperament.His poems not only depict people's misery,but also chant landscapes.His poems are more rewarded for singing gifts and examining works of stone calligraphy and painting,which have profound and elegant characteristics.It has the style of Dongpo's poetry.The fourth part mainly studies Li Yanzhang's continuation and development of Song poetry style.Li Yanzhang inherited Weng Fanggang's style of Zongsong poetry.During his stay in Beijing,he laid a foundation for the spread of Zongsong poetry style from top to bottom through the poetic atmosphere of reciprocal replies in Xuannan and the humanistic environment gathered by librarians and ministers.During the period of Guangxi and Jiangsu,the foreign officials mainly built academies to offer sacrifices to the academies and restore the historic sites of the Song people.The activities of "Life for the Song Dynasty" affected the local scholars and the people,and achieved good repercussions in both places.Then he became the direct promoter of Dao Xianzong's Song poetry style.The balance is mainly a brief summary of Li Yanzhang's poetry creation and literary influence,and a new position of Li Yanzhang in Jiadao's poetry circle:compared with Weng Fanggang and Cheng Enze,Li Yanzhang's relatively weak link in the dissemination of Zongsong's thoughts in Jiadao's period.This is related to his early death and his incomparable achievements,but he is also an indispensable transitional figure to spread the style of Song poetry.The last part,attached to li yanzhang chronology.
