The HSK test is an international standardized test for testing the Chinese proficiency of learners whose native language is not Chinese. The New HSK Level 5 Test is for candidates with advanced Chinese proficiency, they have self-learning ability at this level, such as accessing Chinese information without barriers, watching all kinds of Chinese film?television audio and video programs, using Chinese for everyday communication. Therefore, this paper carried out from the semantic role, semantic features, and valence form of verbs chooses verbs in HSK5 as the research content, and uses the valence grammar theory as the research basis.Strive to get a quick way to learn the New HSK Level 5 vocabulary. The purpose of this paper is to let Chinese teachers understand Chinese grammar, especially the importance of valence grammar, which improve the quality of classroom teaching, and can help solve some difficult problems in grammatical phenomena. The article consists of five parts: The first part is the introduction which introduces the valence theory, domestic and international review, research objectives and research notes. The second part is mainly about the research object--the valence of the new HSK5 level verb vocabulary, from the three perspectives of the choice of verbs, the semantic role of verb-dominated objects and the price classification of verbs. The third part divides the verb vocabulary into five categories, each of which is divided into four categories according to price, then analyzes the valence of verbs according to different price points. The fourth part is the teaching inspiration of the verb vocabulary. The last part is the conclusion, which is a summary of the analysis of the verb valence. There are two main conclusions in the article, one is that bivalent verbs have the strongest dominance of nominal components, and its position in the sentence is very flexible. The arbitrage of monovalent and quasi-two-valent verbs is very limited, and these verbs can only appear at a fixed position in the sentence. The sentence structure of trivalent verbs is complicated.Another one is that the theory of valence grammar plays a positive role in vocabulary learning. The verb vocabulary teaching content of high-level international students includes the basic verbs commonly used in Chinese everyday.Foreign students master the theory of valence grammar will greatly improve the vocabulary learning ability, and the use of language and skills of communication will also be significantly improved.
