China and Pakistan have traditional friendship and have new demands in the new century.With the launch of the national project "Belt and Road" and the cooperation of the "China-Pakistan Economic Corridor(CPEC)",more and more Pakistanis are going to do business with the Chinese,and Chinese teaching has also achieved considerable development.It is valued by government agencies and educational institutions in Pakistan.However,behind this insatiable"Chinese fever",there are many deficiencies in Chinese teaching.The most prominent problem is that Pakistanis are too dependent on Chinese Pinyin in the process of learning Chinese.The Chinese teachers in Confucius Institute at Karachi University ignored the teaching of Chinese characters,which became the main obstacle for Pakistani students to further improve their Chinese.This thesis investigates the teaching situation of Chinese characters in CIUK and the investigation of Chinese characters in Confucius Institute students.It analyzes the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese characters in CIUK and the errors in the writing of Chinese characters,and proposes the optimization of Chinese characters teaching.The strategy is to improve the teaching level of Chinese characters at the Confucius Institute at Karachi University and to help Pakistani students overcome the difficulties and obstacles encountered in the process of learning Chinese characters.This paper mainly includes the following aspects:First,introduces the current scale of Chinese language teaching in CIUK and the teaching profile from the current teacher scale,student size and project exchange activities of CIUK.Secondly,analyzes the investigation of the current situation of Chinese characters teaching in CIUK and the investigation of the learning of Chinese characters in Confucius Institute students,and the problems and deficiencies in the teaching of Chinese characters in CIUK.Thirdly,the analysis of Chinese characters'writing errors in CIUK summarizes the types of Chinese characters'writing errors from the strokes,strokes,radicals and structures of Chinese characters,and analyzes the causes of Chinese characters'errors.Handwriting and breakthroughs are provided in the process of Chinese character teaching.Fourthly,according to the current situation of Chinese character teaching in CIUK and the investigation and analysis of students'Chinese characters,combined with the types of errors in the writing of Chinese characters in Pakistan,the Chinese character teaching in CIUK is proposed to reflect and optimize the teaching of Chinesecharacters.Finally,it is necessary to provide a Chinese language course in CIUK It is necessary to provide a systematic explanation for the Chinese character knowledge.The paper provides a teaching design for the single-character Chinese character course of CIUK for reference.
