An Experimental Analysis Of The Intonation Of Ba Sentences By Thai Students

Based on the theory of intonation pattern,this thesis uses experimental phonetic method to analyze the intonation of "Ba" sentence by Thai stud ree aspects:pitch,length and intensity.Comparing analysis of Thai students' subject-predicate-object reference sentences and "Ba" sentences in their intonation data with Chinese students,this paper summarizes the similarities and differences,analyses the causes of the intonation errors of Thai students' "Ba" sentences and puts forward some relevant teaching suggestions.The thesis is divided into five chapters:Chapter I,Introduction.This paper describes the purpose of this study,introduces the intonation research review and experimental research review,and writes the innovative points of this paper.The second chapter:Explanation of experiments.This chapter explains the experiment,including the experimental sentences,the pronunciator,the recording and the experimental process.Chapter third is an experimental analysis of the intonation of Ba sentence by Thai students.This part mainly analyses the differences between Thai students'reference sentences and "Ba" sentences and native speakers in fluctuation,pause rate and volume ratio.Chapter IV,based on the experimental results of the "Ba" sentence of Thai students,finding out the causes of students' errors and puts forward some suggestions for the intonation teaching of the "Ba" sentence to Thai students.Chapter five,conclusion.
