Language is the specific social communication tool for human beings.It is particularly crucial to master the foreign language in the context of globalization,especially with the widespread use of English,the English curriculum in high school stage are more prominent with its humanistic and social significance.One of the key points in the new curriculum reform is to assure that the student is the master,and the teacher is the helper in the learning process.The exchange of teaching centers is ultimately to improve students' ability to learn independently.Through the optimization of learning methods,we can reverse the conservative teaching methods in the current English teaching,and the current passive mechanical learning status of high school students.Reading is the main way to acquire and analyze information in social activities.Reading discourse carries the full content of core literacy,especially language ability(the ability to understand and express language in a social context).Whether it is from habit formation,knowledge difficulty or achievement,reading has always been the top priority of high school students in English learning.In addition,the new curriculum standard specifically proposes:It should mainly enhance the ability of high school students to apply English to obtain information,process information,analyze problems and solve problems.In the traditional reading class,we stress on the memorizing,understanding vocabulary,grammar,sentence patterns and other knowledge points,and refine the entire article to repeat and accumulate learning methods,while dynamic interaction,personality innovation development is not enough.The college entrance examination is changing,we have to change.Therefore,the majority of researchers and teachers are actively exploring and practicing through various English reading and teaching methods according to the guidelines of the new curriculum standards.Guided learning plan is a teaching method that domestic and foreign schools have tried to use in recent decades.The way is to write a case through teacher,research,students solve the problem independently through the plan,and teachers guide the teaching.Therefore,in order to be able to verify the English reading class,the use of the guided learning plan can create an effective classroom and strengthen the students'self-reading ability.The author set the research object to be the faculty of the English Teaching and Research Group(High School)and the third grade students af the ChengduExperimental High School.Through careful study of Chinese and foreign academic theories on the teaching of guided learning,the author has summarized and analyzed the questionnaires and the interview content of teachers and students,and has also studied the teaching content of the design^nd implementation process of the guiding course of the reading class.In the English reading class of coaching,the teaching mode will practice the student-led teaching method.The experimental results verify that the application of the guided learning plan in high school English reading is better than the previous teaching mode,which cultivates students' interest in learning and self-reading ability,and has enhanced the application of reading strategies.
