As a traditional pattern that the public likes to see,the fish pattern has been innovated from the Banpo culture of the Neolithic Age to the innovative production of modern ceramics.On the basis of the predecessors,this paper studies and analyzes the development of traditional ceramic fish patterns according to the order of dynasty changes,and discusses the aspects of traditional fish prints,such as engraving and decal,painting composition and combination,and then on modern ceramics.The innovative aspects of fish pattern are compiled and compiled,and the development of modern ceramic fish pattern is compared with traditional ceramic fish pattern.It is concluded that the development of ceramic fish pattern inherits and carries forward the composition of traditional ceramic fish pattern.Forms,decorative techniques,combinations,and techniques of firing,and on this basis,innovative forms of expression.Bionic shapes,abstract shapes,integrated image representations with other materials,and the development of new materials and new technologies have all brought the image of “fish”to the extreme.In the artistic creations of the dynasties from the ancient times to the present,the pattern of fish in ceramics,new year paintings,sculptures,paper-cuts,prints,operas,literature,and auspicious languages is increasing.Whether it is decorative painting or compositional modeling,it is clear.The prosperity of fish patterns in the Qing Dynasty created conditions and laid the foundation for the development of modern ceramic fish patterns.On the basis of modern people's attention to material civilization,modern people pay attention to Chinese traditional culture,especially for the inheritance and innovation of fish patterns with wide application and auspicious meaning.This is the problem we should consider.
