A Practice Report On The Interpreting Task For "Introduction To Foreign Talents Import Policy In Ningxia" From The Perspective Of Schema Theory

The thesis is a practice report on the writer's interpreting task for "Introduction to Foreign Talents Import Policy in Ningxia",a conference held in North Minzu University.From the perspective of Schema Theory,the writer introduces the process of her interpreting,analyzes her problems and makes suggestions on coping strategies.The report consists of four chapters:task description,theoretical framework,case analysis and conclusion.Chapter 1 describes the task background,task process and its evaluation.The second chapter introduces Schema Theory and its application in interpreting.On the basis of Schema Theory,Chapter 3 analyzes the writer's problems on Language Schema,Content Schema,Formal Schema and Psychological Schema;in addition,it proposes enrichment of Schemata,awakening of Schemata and adjustment of Schemata as coping strategies during interpretation.The last part draws a conclusion,attempting to enlighten future C-E consecutive interpreting and conference interpreting with the benefit of Schema Theory.
