Community Art Museum Operation System And Strategies In The Perspective Of Participatory Culture

Driven by the new museology and the construction of community culture in recent years,the theoretical and practical research of community art museums has attracted extensive attention from academia and various fields of society.However,in the face of the public and community residents who have long had no voice in art museums,the publicization and communityization of community art museums has made it difficult to reach out to the community and the public,and public participation is in a passive position.It is crucial to rethink the positioning of community art museums and to promote public participation and activism.This study is based on the perspective of participatory culture theory,combined with case study analysis,and follows the principle of "problem formulation-problem analysis-system construction-strategy proposal-summary and outlook".This research is based on the logic of "propose problem-analyze problem-system construction-propose strategy-summarize and prospect",and it aims to reorganize the models and operation mechanisms of community art museums at home and abroad,to build a participatory operation system,to explore multiple and independent participation methods,to solve the current passive situation of community residents and the public in community art museums,and to examine the public education of community art museums.The study also examines the community art museum’s public education nature,and in the process of public participation by multiple subjects,it enhances the vitality of community art museums,brings into play the function of community aesthetic education,and builds community cultural belonging together.This study compares the literature on participatory culture and community art museums,analyzes research progress and trends,and discovers the possibilities of their intersection;it analyzes the current development of community art museums at home and abroad,analyzes the participation mechanism,and discovers the advantages and shortcomings of the three models of community art museum operation,as well as the characteristics of dynamic change,and the need to control the degree of attention to community and participation at different stages of development.In addition,the analysis of the organization,working methods,and implementation process reveals the characteristics of the current participatory operation mechanism.In addition,we propose a systemic participatory approach,linking the basic information layer,the analysis and calculation layer,the result implementation layer and the feedback layer.The research method of observation,questionnaire and interview is used to investigate the current operation status of Ren community art museum,the community assets in the community and its surrounding areas,and the public’s willingness to participate,and to discover the possibility of correlation between the two.Using the visualization tool of service system design,we analyzed the touch points and opportunities in the user portrait and user journey map of the community,and proposed strategies for the operation of the "Ren" Community Art Museum.Through a combination of theoretical research,case studies,and research analysis,this study proposes a participatory community art museum operation system,using a participatory approach to link the community art museum’s multi-party participatory operation system,providing a new solution for the community art museum to realize publicization and enhance vitality,and enriching its connotation.
