An Empirical Study On Competitiveness Of Jiangsu Animation Industry And Its Influencing Factors

As an emerging cultural industry,the animation industry plays an increasingly important role in the economic development of Jiangsu Province due to its high industrial integration,long industrial chain and environmental friendliness.In recent years,the animation industry in Jiangsu Province has developed rapidly,and the cultivation of animation production clusters and industrial parks has achieved initial results,but there is still a big gap compared with developed regions.Jiangsu Province should strive to improve the competitiveness of the animation industry to achieve rapid and high-quality development of the animation industry.This paper uses qualitative and quantitative methods to comprehensively examine the status quo and trends of the competitiveness of animation industry in Jiangsu Province,and further analyzes the main factors affecting the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry.in order to provide new ideas and countermeasures for the development of Jiangsu animation industry.In the part of theoretical analysis,this paper combs the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of the competitiveness of the animation industry,studies the development status of the animation industry in Jiangsu Province from the external environment and the enterprise itself,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of the analysis.In the empirical analysis part,this paper builds an evaluation system of the competitiveness of animation industry in Jiangsu Province,which includes five major competition modules,11 competition areas and 29 competitiveness indicators,based on the diamond model.Firstly,using the relevant data of Jiangsu animation industry from 2010 to 2017,this paper makes a longitudinal evaluation and analysis on the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry,focusing on investigating the changing trend of the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry.Secondly,this paper chooses 31 provinces and municipalities in China in 2017 as the research sample to make a horizontal comparative analysis of the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry,focusing on investigating the position of Jiangsu animation industry competitiveness in the whole country.Finally,the grey correlation analysis method is used to further analyze the factors affecting the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry.The results show that:(1)Except for the obvious decline in 2011,the competitiveness of Jiangsu animation industry is on the rise in 2012-2017,which is mainly due to the continuous improvement of the macroeconomic environment,but the development ability of animation enterprises has not been significantly improved.(2)Although the overall competitiveness of Jiangsu's animation industry is the second in the country,there are still obvious deficiencies in its originality and profitability.(3)The development of Jiangsu's related industries,government behavior and demand conditions are the main factors affecting the competitiveness of Jiangsu's animation industry at this stage.This paper proposes the following countermeasures:(1)improve the original ability,cultivate animation brand;(2)strengthen enterprise management,improve profitability;(3)optimize the market environment,cultivate consumer demand;(4)change the mode of support,improve the efficiency of support;(5)create the "animation +" mode,extend the industrial chain;(6)change the mode of training,optimize talent structure.
