Study On The Spring Festival Culture In Uygur Nationality In Urumqi

Socialism with Chinese characteristics entering a new era as well as the prosperity of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics are important symbols of national rejuvenation.Being an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture,Chinese traditional festivals,especially Spring Festival,are the traditional festivals of the Chinese nationand the festivals of celebration and peace,which indicates the family consciousness of reunion of the Chinese nation,the social consciousness of kindness,good neighborliness and homeland isomorphism.From the perspective of Spring Festival,a traditional Chinese festival,this paper chooses two communities in Tianshan District,Urumqi City,and takes Uygur residents as the research object to study the culture of Spring Festival among Uygurs in Urumqi City,and makes a deep analysis of the status quo of Xinjiang ethnic groups',including Uygurs',recognition to Chinese excellent traditional culture,aiming to enhance this recognition of ethnic groups in Xinjiang to Chinese culture,and to better establish Chinese spirit,Chinese value and Chinese strength.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part mainly introduces the general situation of the selected field sites and the basic structure of the survey objects;the second part is the cognitive status of traditional Chinese festivals in Xinjiang.This part mainly analyses the concept of Chinese traditional festivals based on statutory holidays,the dissemination of Chinese traditional festivals through mass media and the participation to the related activities in community organizations.The third part is about the cultural customs of Uygur people celebrating the Spring Festival in Urumqi.Based on the aspects of Uygur people's understanding of the culture of this festival,the main ways of participating in the Spring Festival and the cultural customs of celebrating the Spring Festival,the general situation of Uygur people celebrating the Spring Festival in Urumqi is also analyzed.The last part focuses on the characteristics and significance of Uygur celebration of the Spring Festival.
