Radical transcendental reduction and the paradox of subjectivity are two important thesis in Husserl's transcendental phenomenology, and both of them refer to the relation between the transcendence and the empirical. But many doubt whether transcendental reduction is fairly radical and whether the subjectivity paradox would be solved in the end.We insist that exhibiting the relation between the transcendence and the empirical is the key to understand these two problems. But as we can see,Husserl and many followers emphasized the contradiction between these two,and they hardly mentioned the identity of the two respects. So our main task is to demonstrate the identification of the two aspects, and to answer the question whether transcendental reduction can be achieved radically and the subjectivity paradox can be solved.Firstly we will protest that Husserl began with suspending different things gradually as the related items to consciousness,in order to develop reduction to be more radical.Owing to this intent, phenomenology would be transcendental. In the meantime, the second subjectivity paradox will appear in the transcendental attitude, which indicates reduction can't be radical ultimately, and the way to solve the first paradox will fail.As a result,we need to investigate the relation between the transcendence and the empirical more deeply.Secondly,we will account for the real connection between the transcendental and the empirical, especially identity of the two.We will argue that the transcendental is not absolute one,i.e.there are empirical elements in it;the empirical is also not pure,i.e.there are always transcendental elements in it.The two aspects is not absolutely contradictory. Therefore, there is no possibility to rely on pure transcendental subjectivity and pure empirical subjectivity respectively, but to expect that understanding the two should happen in a stucture of transendental-empirical.In this structure,we can clearly announce that the problem of transcendental reduction and subjectivity paradox can't be solved perfectly. At last,we will point out that the imperfection on reduction will easily lead to the doubt about the necessity of reduction, and these doubts should be eliminated through our arguments above. We insist that, although the reduction is not radical,it is still to be executed. When we suspend the natural attitude,we can live in a not-pure-rational,not-pure natural, but not-naive attitude.
