The word order of Chinese multiple adverbials is a difficult grammar project that foreign students will meet when they learn Chinese.For Chinese teachers,it's also a very complicated grammatical project,which is not easy to deal with and is often overlooked.In recent years,the number of Indonesian students who study Chinese is increasing.However,the study of Indonesian students who acquire the word order of Chinese multiple adverbials is not abundant.Therefore,based on the second language acquisition theory,this paper studies the situation of Indonesian students acquiring the word order of Chinese multiple adverbials through questionnaires and the collation and analysis of various corpora,such as HSK test papers.We summary those difficulties of learning this grammar project according to their common errors,and analyze the causes of these errors and then assess errors.In the end,some suggestions are put forward on these issues to help Indonesian students learn this project better.This paper includes five chapters: the first chapter introduces the reasons,the purposes and significance of the study,and also summarizes the research situation of this project,and establishes the theoretical basis and research methods;The second chapter describes the sources of corpus,and the preparation for investigation.The third chapter analyzes errors of the words order of Chinese multiple adverbials made by Indonesian students based on the survey results.The fourth chapter is mainly about analysis of the causes of those errors and evaluation of those errors according to Khlil's three errors evaluation standards;In the last chapter,we put forward some suggestions and strategies of learning,teaching,textbooks for this grammar project.Through the investigation and analysis,we have some conclusions: Firstly,those types of adverbials that Indonesian students have common errors are the descriptive adverbial,the modal adverbial,the related adverbials,the adverbial of places,the adverbial of objects and so on.Secondly,the number of those common errors made by Indonesian students is gradually reducing with the improvement of Chinese proficiency,but some errors still will be made by the advanced level students.Thirdly,the causes of those common errors are various.One is interlingual transfer of their mother tongue,that is because the Indonesian adverbial position is usually at the right of the predicate center.And also include over-generalization of the target language knowledge,communication strategies and internal factors of the learners,teaching and textbooks and so on.
