Culture Extension From The Cross-Cultural Perspective

Biographical literature is an important part of contemporary literature.It is of documentary,historic,artistic and literary natures.Due to the cultural differences between target readers and the author,the translator should not only convert the language,but more importantly break through the original cultural barriers and render the extended cultural meanings effectively to the target audience,so as to achieve the cultural communication.Therefore,the thesis combines the characteristics of biographical literature in translation and takes the principle of equivalence in cultural communication as a guideline,supplemented by concrete examples to generalize and summarize the general rules and experiences to help guide future translation practices.
