A Study On The Vocabulary Of The Local Dialect In The Birthplace Of Nvshu, Shangjiangxu Town, Jiangyong County, Hunan Province

In this paper,the vocabulary of Shangjiangxu is taken as the object of investigation.Using the method of field investigation to collect the corpus,and use the Fieldphon and Praat software to record and sort out the Shangjiangxu local dialect vocabulary form.A total of 2652 words of Shangjiangxu local dialect are recorded.The pronunciation of the vocabulary is old-style.In the analysis of lexicon,the Mandarin vocabulary is used as a comparative sample to analyze the vocabulary of Shangjiangxu local dialect.The vocabulary of Shangjiangxu local dialect is different from that of Mandarin in the number of syllables.It mainly shows that the monosyllabic words of Shangjiangxu local dialect are corresponding to the two-syllable words of Mandarin.The two-syllable words of Shangjiangxu local dialect are corresponding to the monosyllabic or polysyllabic words of Mandarin.The polysyllabic words or phrases in Shangjiangxu local dialect correspond to the two-syllable words of Mandarin.In terms of word formation morpheme,it does not correspond exactly to Mandarin.The main expression forms are partially similar or identical,completely different,and arranged in different order.The difference in lexical meaning is mainly the difference in the scope of meaning.In the way of word formation,the noun affixes of Shangjiangxu dialect mainly include "?m??⁵⁵ " "?ki³³ " "?ts?²⁵/t?⁵⁵ " "?ku³³ " "?ni²⁵/?tau⁵¹ " "?kau²⁵ ".The characteristics of the adjectives are mainly reflected in the overlap with the suffix?k?³³;in addition,it is also modified by a special degree adverb "??lu⁵¹k?³³ ",which is very high.In terms of the vocabulary,the vocabulary of Shangjiangxu dialect has two main methods:direct naming and tortous naming.From the source of vocabulary,the sources of vocabulary in Shangjiangxu dialect are diverse,mainly including native words,ancient words and borrowed words.Some of the native words reflect the traditional customs of Shangjiangxu polder.In addition,we combined the research of predecessors to make a simple review of the development of Jiangyong's nvshu in the current language environment.According to Zhao Liming's?Collection of Chinese Nvshu?,the paper analyzes the application of vocabulary in the text of nvshu,and finds that in addition to the local dialect words,the texts of nvshu also use a lot of words with mixed classical chinese expressions,occasionally use words themselves create.It may be limited by the requirement of songs'sentence of which the number of sentences is the same and the need for rhyming and the influence of traditional creative ideas.
