The Imperial Examinations began in the Sui and Tang Dynasties and flourished in the Song Dynasty,reaching the peak in the Ming Dynasty.Guizhou,as a province which built in 1413,is the youngest among the 15 provinces,it is also significantly influenced by the Examination and achieved “700 Jinshi and 6,000Juren(2)”,in fact,the specific data is unclear.In the Ming Dynasty,the data related to the Examination in Guizhou is vague,missing,and wrong,which caused by many reasons,such as original mistakes in books,confusion of the origin information brought about by the immigration phenomenon,and the interactive management of the marginal political districts are all urgently needed to be discerned.In addition,the life and writings of the Jinshi in Guizhou in the Ming Dynasty are scattered in the various philosophies or epitaphs.Although they are slightly recorded in the books such as Guizhou Tongzhi·People's Records and The Poems Writen by Guizhou People,actually,not systematic.This has caused many difficulties for people engaged in the field,such as inaccurate data and unclear figures.Based on the background of the Imperial Examinations in the Ming Dynasty,this thesis takes the Guizhou Jinshi group as the research object,comprehensively examines their names,birthplaces,examinations scores,life and writings,and through research,collation,analysis and summary,finally forms a relatively systematic and complete data of Guizhou Jinshi group.The article divideds into following four parts:?.Outline the situation before and after the establishment of Guizhou Province,and sort out the development history of the Imperial Examination in Guizhou.Guizhou is located in the southwestern border.Before the province was established,its land was owned by Sichuan,Yunnan,Huguang and other neighboring provinces.Its social order is disordered,economic and cultural development is left behind.It was not until the Ming Dynasty unified the war in Yunnan that it was attached to the imperial court and gradually appreciated.It has long been 124 years since Guizhou eventually involved in the Examination after the establishment of the Province.?.To examine the total number and identity of the Jinshi group,and analyze the factors which have a effect on their scores.In the Ming Dynasty,Guizhou had a total of 99 Jinshi,Among them,86% have double hukou(1),only 14 are purely Guizhou-based.Jinshi also change their names,Chen Shizhang from Pu'an,later renamed Xie Shizhang.In the Ming Dynasty,the scores of Jinshi in Guizhou were mostly second and third.The best result was Yi Gui from Guizhu.In addition to the level of personal study effort,scores also related to the family environment,natural environment,economic development and education background etc.?.To excavate the life and works of the Jinshi,and summarize them into systematically biographical data.Jinshi is a high-end product of the Imperial Examination.To explore the history and culture of Guizhou in the Ming Dynasty,it is impossible to circumvent the Ming Dynasty Guizhou elite.Therefore,through various methods such as paper literature review,electronic literature search,and book literature transmission,the author has tried her best to review the existing literature on the life and writings of Guizhou Jinshi in the Ming Dynasty.?.List the works of individual representative writers and sort out the relationship between Jinshi and Guizhou literature.To some extent,historically,literature is conducted by the gentry,Jinshi also played a crucial role.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the poetry works of Sun Yingao and Xie Shizhang,and explores the literary style and artistic features of their works.The fifth chapter briefly analyzes the impact of the Imperial Examination in the Ming Dynasty on the fate of Guizhou Jinshi and the relationship between Jinshi and Guizhou literature.The article mainly uses the literature survey method,the comparative research method,the literature and history mutual authentication method,the comparative analysis method,the example enumeration method,and the summary induction method.The research results are as follows:There were nearly a hundred Jinshi in the Ming Dynasty in Guizhou.They were outstanding representatives and achieved outstanding achievements in politics and literature and led the development of Guizhou culture.The research and artistic analysis of the existence of this group of literary works has made this group's image more vivid and full.Making this biography of the identity,life,and works of the Jinshi group in the Ming Dynasty not only brings us closer to the Ming Dynasty,but also enhances the cultural self-confidence of contemporary Guizhou people.It can also provide a certain amount of research for those who are engaged in research in this field.The literature helped to compensate for the deficiency of the Guizhou Imperial Examination in the field of Chinese imperial examinations to a certain extent.
