The Chinese language education in Trang Province started more than a century ago.It is an integral part of Chinese education in southern Thailand.In the new era,the Chinese language education in Trang Province has both the inheritance of the traditional model and its own innovation and reform.This thesis is written according to the historical development as the main line.We use multiple ways to get the necessary information,including: 1,Research on the history data and have direct interviews with older generation Chinese.2,Visit Trang education policy institutions and Chinese education promotion schools.3,Carry out telephone interviews to the heads of the main educational institutions and teachers,and send questionnaires to collect relevant information.This thesis finds that there are two main problems in the contemporary Chinese education in Trang.The first one is the problem of the education management department: the schools have no guidance and overall planning in the language education,and the uneven distribution of Chinese educational resources have also not received attention.The second one is the problem of various Chinese language education schools,that includes: 1,Lack of attention to the development of Chinese language education from the management public and private schools.The curriculum is chaotic,and the education stages are not connected.2,The teaching quality is not good and the teachers change school too often.3,There are many kinds of Chinese textbooks but lack of localization.4,The evaluation system for teachers and students is not perfect.In response to these problems,this thesis interviews Chinese teachers on the front line and combines the author's experience of promoting Chinese language education for years to put forward suggestions and countermeasures.It is suggested to form a unified management mechanism and rationally allocate various Chinese education resources to solve the problems of the education management department.Schools play a decisive role in the education.Standardized curriculum,systematic teacher training management mode,targeted local teaching materials,and standardized teacher and student evaluation systems will be especially important for the improvement the current quality of Chinese education in all schools.
