In the Chinese traditional thought,Confucianism has formed the thinking pattern of the center of gravity since Mencius in the Pre-Qin Dynasty.The psychological problem has a long history,it is the key topic that thinkers and philosophers ponder and discuss deeply in the pre-Qin Dynasty and later dynasties.Among them,the issue of the good and evil of human nature was in a state of constant debate for a long time,until the Northern Song Dynasty,Zhang Zai,on the basis of inheriting the thoughts of his predecessors,said from his own point of view,creatively,on the basis of the relationship of virtual qi,explored the relationship between virtual qi and nature and heart.It constructs a new thought system of mind for Confucianism.This paper mainly studies Zhang Zaiundefineds theory of mind,traces the origin of Zhang Zaiundefineds thought of mind,and clarifies the origin of Zhang Zaiundefineds thought of mind.It is mainly based on the concept of the Tao of Heaven and the primitive theory of Qi based on the inheritance of Confucius,Mencius,Xunzi and other Confucian thoughts.Break the tradition from the original point of view,and gradually approach to the deep-seated heart ontology.In addition,Zhang Zai extended to the relationship between heaven and man through the exploration of the thought of mind,which made up for the deficiency of Confucianism in the aspect of psychological theory compared with Buddha and Lao,and embodied the ultimate pursuit and concern of Confucianism in regard to the world as its own duty.Although Zhang Zaiundefineds theory of mind is much less than the theory of nature and humanity in his works,his theory of mind deeply affects the development of Song Mingundefineds Neo-Confucianism and has a far-reaching influence on later generations.This paper is divided into four parts,the first part is the beginning of Zhang Zai's theory of heart.It mainly discusses the characteristics of the era of Confucianism in the Northern Song Dynasty,the origin and development of the theory of the Mind in the Pre-Qin period,the emergence and development of the concepts of "Tai Xu" and "Qi",and discusses the mentality of Confucian Confucius,Mencius,Xunzi and others..The second part discusses the main contents of Zhang Zai's theory of mind,including the foundation of Zhang Zai's theory of mind,the "virtual gas phase" of the Taoist concept,or Zhang Zai's ontology,which explains Zhang Zai's so-called "sex" and "heart" fever.Concept and the relationship between "sex" and "heart".It sorts out the relationship between the emptiness and temperament in Zhang Zai's theory of mind and the theory of Zhang Zai's temperament.The third part mainly discusses Zhang Zai's theory of self-cultivation.This paper analyzes the self-cultivation theory of Zhang Zai on the basis of ontology,analyzes the source of human good and evil,and how people conduct moral cultivation and the characteristics of the three stages of sage.The fourth part focuses on the influence of Zhang Zai's theory of mind on later generations.It analyzes the inheritance and exertion of Zhu Xi and Wang Fuzhi's thoughts on Zhang Zai and the significance of Zhang Zai's theory of mind in the new era of socialism.
