The Dissemination Of Fine Art Photography In The Republic Of China Period

With the advent of the Photograpy and the Art,the Art Photograpy was indroduced in China during the Republic of China Period.So,Photograpy is a part of Art history.We should not ignore the Art Photograpy if we want to know the history of modern Chinese art totally.As yet,researches about Chinese Art Photography are not enough.We did not have our history of Chinese Art Photography until 1996.The comprehensive history of it also not published until 2011.So dose researches on Xincheng Shu's Art Photography which are not clearly enough.Although Xincheng Shu is not the first person to indroduce Art Photography into China,he leave us a large number of data about Art Photography.Based on the feat of his oredecessors,he formed his conception.The connection between Xincheng Shu and Zhonghua Book Company which was one of the most famous publication in that period gave him the opportunity to express his feeling about the Fine Art Photography by printing books,show his own artworks of the Art Photography and witness what the Fine Art Photography have encountered at the first West Lake Exposition in Hangzhou at 1929.Not only can we find the source of the Art Photography and grasp the specific characteristics of it by having researches on Xincheng Shu's conception and practices about Art Photography,but we can also see the situation about the dissemination of the Art Photography.This article will analyze howXincheng Shu formed his coneption about the Fine Art Photography,Xincheng Shu's practice about the Fine Art Photography in the first West Lake Exposition and activities of publication Xincheng Shu took with Zhonghua Book Company specifically based on the effort of current researches and primarysource,according to current studys and primary data about them.Using those data as clue,this article have tried finding the source of the Art Photography,analyzing the situation about those typical practices.According to the discussion about the Art Photography in the Republic of China period and the typical practices Xincheng Shu took part in,the dissemination of the Art Photography is related to the dream of recitalizing our country through western culture.echnology also have an influence on the transsmission of the Fine Art Photography in china.but it just provid a condition for the emerge of the Fine Art Photography.it did not the essencial factor.Choosing to accept the rule about Diversity and Unity or deny the conception about Vague are all because of the dream to recitalize our country.
