Research On The Art Form Of Micro-film In The Context Of New Media

McLuhan once said that "the media is the extension of human beings".The advanced media technology realized the extension of human beings,and every new medium's birth created a new way of human acquire and disseminate information,promoted the birth of a new artistic form.From the paper media to the electronic media,from the electronic media to the Internet,media technology revolution has changed people's lifestyle,expression and the way of thinking.With the rapid development of Internet technology and the wide convenience of the media,humans have entered a new media context.With the rapid development of the digital film and television technology,Internet technology and mobile communication technology,micro-film has become a new art form in the context of new media and an important part of the screen culture,with its limited short space,interpreting the deep thinking,focusing on small people in life and big social problems,integrating artistry and ideology,and inheriting mainstream value culture.This paper mainly expounds the art form of microfilm in the context of new media.Under the guidance of many theories,such as filmology and communication,this paper analyzes the means of production and communication and the artistic characteristics by a large number of excellent microfilm works,summing up the changes in the presentation and the characteristics of artistic expression of micro-films in the context of new media.And combining with my graduation design works "Guardian of the way home",a documentary micro-film,to theoretical verification and practical analysis.This paper first defines the related notion of the new media context and the micro-film and the classification characteristics of micro-film.Secondly,it analyzes the reasons for the rise of micro-film in the context of new media and the change of the present mode of micro-film.Again,combining with my graduation works and a large number of excellent micro-film works,from two angles of artistic content and artistic expression,this paper gives examples to analyze the artistic characteristics of micro-films.Finally,combining with my graduation works from the topics,shooting,editing and other aspects to practice and use,the art form of micro-film has been more comprehensive cognition.
