As good neighbor countries,China and Russia have strong complementarity in economy,science,technology,culture,education and other aspects.It has become an increasingly common phenomenon for people in China and Russia to learn each other's language,especially speaking about teaching Chinese in Russia,which has come to the forefront in the world teaching Chinese.Every teaching should include four points: overall design,textbook compilation,classroom teaching and language testing,where textbook compilation is the basis of teaching.It is the most important part in teaching.The success or failure of textbook compilation is directly related to the success or failure of teaching.Like any other subject,textbooks play an irreplaceable role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language,especially teaching materials of elementary Chinese for foreigners.As the first textbook for most Chinese language learners,the best test for the textbook compilers' theoretical level and practical ability is whether a first textbook can resolve learners misunderstanding of Chinese as the world's most difficult language,whether it can make a sense of closeness to Chinese,and to establish a closer relationship between Chinese and their mother tongue.This research is based on a comparative analysis of the two sets of textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language published in Russia and China,taking “New practical Chinese textbook” and “Developing Chinese elementary comprehensive course” as examples.The analysis includes the textbook compiling principles,phonetic knowledge,Chinese character knowledge,grammar knowledge,cultural knowledge and exercise arrangement,and compares the advantages and disadvantages of these textbooks,and gives some suggestions.Our suggestions are expected to provide some help for the compilation of teaching materials for Chinese as a foreign language.
