| This study aims to explore the relationship among career-related parental support,career maturity and comprehensive well-being of college students in the context of the new era.It is hoped to make up for the deficiency of previous studies and provide some reference for the education of colleges.It also helps to provide some suggestions for improving the well-being of college students.670 college students from Hunan,Anhui,Hubei and other places were investigated by questionnaire survey.The data were analyzed statistically by SPSS22.0.After comprehensive use of multiple inspection methods,the relationship among career-related parental support and career maturity and the comprehensive well-being of college student was discussed.The results showed that:(1)The occupation-related parental support obtained by college students has significant differences in their grades and whether they are single-children.The first-year grade is significantly higher than other grades(F=12.04;p<0.01),and the only child is significantly higher than the non-only child(t=2.20;p<0.05).(2)The career maturity of college students is significantly different in grades,and the freshman and fourth grades are significantly higher than other grades(F=8.75;p<0.01).(3)Some dimensions of college students’ comprehensive well-being are significantly different in gender,whetherthey are only children and their grades.Boys are significantly higher than girls,and only children are significantly higher than non-only children.The first grade is significantly higher than the sophomore and fourth grade.(4)The career-related parental support of college students has a significant positive predictive effect on occupational maturity,comprehensive well-being and its dimensions(p<0.001).The career maturity of college students has a significant positive prediction on comprehensive well-being and its dimensions(p<0.001),career maturity played a partial mediating role in college students’ occupation-related parental support and comprehensive well-being,with mediating effects accounting for 14.5% of the total effect.Research conclusions:(1)The more career-related parental support a university student receives,the higher his or her professional maturity and comprehensive well-being.(2)The higher the professional maturity of college students,the higher the comprehensive well-being.(3)Career-related parental support affects college students’ comprehensive well-being through occupational maturity,that is,career-related parental support has a direct impact and also an indirect impact on comprehensive well-being through career maturity.To a certain extent,the research reveals the mechanism of career-related parental support affecting college students’ comprehensive well-being,and provides a certain degree of theoretical guidance for the development of measures to improve college students’ well-being. |
