English reading teaching is an extremely important content in junior middle school English teaching,and it is an important way for students to collect and process information,cognize the world and obtain aesthetic experience.English topic reading is the basis of the development of students' English ability.It can not only cultivate students' sense of English,but also promote their vocabulary accumulation and improve their writing skills.It is the main means and effective way to learn English well.How to improve students' interest in English reading and cultivate their English reading habits is the focus of this study.This study adopts a design-based approach to improve English reading literacy through thematic reading and relevant technical support.It mainly adopts three iterations,and the first round of research topic is about alphabet.It improves students' English reading ability and enriches students' vocabulary knowledge by means of reading evaluation sheet and learning guidance plan.A second round of research theme is through English reading text "water cycle",guides the student to use electronic file cover,word knowledge review,improve students' English vocabulary knowledge,improve students' English reading interest,gradually develop English reading habits,and still need to guide students to insist to use the electronic file cover for accumulation of English reading.The third round is the theme selected by the students.The students show the electronic archives in groups and learn the accumulation method of electronic archives from each other to stimulate their interest in English reading and develop their English reading habits.Each round of implementation design is based on the cultivation of students' English reading literacy,with the help of electronic portfolio and other technical knowledge,including problem analysis,curriculum design,curriculum implementation and formative evaluation.Through the practice study of the school-based English reading course for students in grade one,it is found that the iteration and implementation of theme-based English reading can help increase students' vocabulary knowledge,improve their English reading ability,enhance their interest in English reading and cultivate their English reading habits.Through research effect evaluation,frame diagram,electronic file bag,reading evaluation,theme induction and other methods have brought positive influence on the cultivation of students' English reading quality.
