Contrastive Research On Similar Subjects In The Chinese And Western Drum Music

Two representative works about the Chinese and Western drum music are taken as examples in this paper.On the basis of the different backgrounds of the Chinese and Western drum music,the comparative research on their performance forms,performance techniques,score plane records,inheritance methods and aesthetic characteristics is carried out.It can enable performers to understand the works more deeply so as to create works more accurately.It can also make other researchers and performers learn from the Chinese and Western drum playing techniques and basic beating style from the perspectives of theoretical research and performance.In addition,it can improve the differential understanding of the Chinese and Western drum music so as to promote the integration and development between the Chinese percussion music and the Western percussion music.
