Nowadays,with the rapid development of society and technology,innovation becomes more important.The cultivation of students' creativity is the foundation of education in every country.Innovation is the challenge of risks and holding of opportunities,but its process and results are full of uncertainty.Do the different levels of intolerance of uncertainty have different effects on creativity? What is the relationship between high school students' creativity and the tolerance of uncertainty? When high school students face uncertain situations with different tolerance of uncertainty,how will their creativity be affected? The results of this study for these problems will help to cultivate high school students' creativity and improve their environment for creating.This study will reveal the relationship between Tolerance of Uncertainty and creativity of senior high school students from two perspectives: creative tendency and creative thinking.In the first study,870 senior high school students were surveyed by two questionnaires: IUS-12 Questionnaire and RIBS Questionnaire.Exploring the relationship between uncertainty tolerance and creativity of senior high school students from the perspective of creativity tendency;Study 2 Will find out that if Tolerance of Uncertainty would affect high school students' creativity from the perspective of creative thinking and under the conditions of informational uncertainty and self-uncertainty.The results as follow:(1)High school students' tolerance of uncertainty is negatively correlated with their creative tendency,and the lower their tolerance of uncertainty is,the higher their creative tendency;(2)Both informational uncertainty and self-uncertainty have an impact on their creative thinking: their creative thinking is better under informational uncertainty and self-uncertainty;(3)Self-uncertainty and creativity difficulty interact: In medium and high level creativity difficulty,the individual's creative thinking under self-uncertainty is significantly higher than that under control condition;in low creative difficulty,self-uncertainty has no effect on the high school students' creative thinking.The study suggests: high school student's tolerance of uncertainty is negatively correlated with their creativity tendency,and informational uncertainty and self-uncertainty have a positive impact on their creative thinking.
