The Influence Of Uncertainty Tolerance And Expected Emotions On Volleyball Players' Risk Decision-making

Taking the volleyball serve as an example,this paper takes college students' volleyball athletes as the research object,selects the key score in the volleyball game as the decision-making situation,and studies the influence of Tolerance of Uncertainty and anticipated emotion on the athletes' risk decision-making in the volleyball serve situation,in order to explain the phenomenon of "soft hand" and "afraid to serve" in the key score in the game.In this study,2(Tolerance of Uncertainty: high/low)×2(anticipated emotion: positive/negative)mixed experimental design,Tolerance of Uncertainty was the inter-group variable,anticipated emotion was the intra-group variable,and the risk decision plan(plan A,plan B)was the dependent variable.38 college volleyball players were selected from 72 college students by the IUS revised Chinese version and divided into two groups,after the experience of decision-making practice complete the risk decision tasks in the pressure,high pressure and extremely high pressure situations.Using chi-square test,paired chi-square,binary logistic regression analysis to analyze the data.The research conclusions are as follows:1.Athletes with different Tolerance of Uncertainty have different risk decision preference.In high pressure and very high pressure situations,the group with high Tolerance of Uncertainty preferred the risk scheme more than the group with low Tolerance of Uncertainty.2.There are differences in athletes' risk decision preference with different anticipated emotions.In the high pressure situation,the subjects were more likely to prefer the risk scheme when they are in the positive anticipated emotion.In extremely high pressure situations,the subjects were more likely to prefer the risk scheme when they are in the negative anticipated emotion.3.There are interactive effects of The uncertainty tolerance and Anticipated emotion on athletes' risk decision.In very high pressure situations,the group with high low Tolerance of Uncertainty preferred the risk scheme under the negative anticipated emotion,but no longer preferred the risk scheme under the positive anticipated emotion,and the conservative tendency increased.In the case of negative anticipated emotion,the group with low Tolerance of Uncertainty no longer preferred the risk scheme compared with the group with high Tolerance of Uncertainty,but showed an increased conservative tendency.In the case of positive anticipated emotion,the group with high Tolerance of Uncertainty no longer preferred the conservative scheme compared with the group with low Tolerance of Uncertainty,but the risk tendency increased.Conclusion: in the extremely high pressure situation,the uncertainty tolerance and the expected emotion have the interactive influence on the athlete's risk decision.
