A Study On The Effects Of Overseas Internships On Professional Development Of MTCSOL

Taking Australia and New Zealand programs as examples,the research starts from the basic situation of the MTCSOL overseas internships,the effects on professional development and the effects on employment choice.By means of research analysis,questionnaires and interview,the research draws a series of conclusions,and does some discussion combined with social cultural theory and teacher career theory.The research results that under the guidance and supervision of the local teaching units,the MTCSOL students are able to conduct teaching independently.Overall,the overseas internship is positive,especially performing well in personal promotion,expanding the international perspective and improving the professional capacity.On the other hand,MTCSOL students' employment choice is not strong interrelated to overseas internship.Domestic internship and overseas internship are both positive,but the focus of the improvement is different.The overseas internship guides the cognition of changing teacher identity.
