Internet superstars are those figures who are active on the Internet platform that their words and actions are arousing the attention from netizen.Although Internet superstar is not an emerging new occupation,what is different from the past is that Internet superstars are gradually developing from singly fighting to integrated upstream and downstream industry through diversified media channels matched with skillful topics to make full efforts to extend their own commercial value of sustainable consumption.However,for Internet superstars who show extraordinary talents on the process to be famous,the audience never stopped their applause and booing for these chosen ones.This research study focuses on the cultural research for the present Internet superstars in modern China.In Chapter I Introduction,the research content is a brief introduction.In Chapter II,Summary of Internet Superstars,this chapter explains the feature and classification of Internet superstar and analyzed the background from three perspectives such as society,economy and culture.In Chapter III Analysis of Media Channel of Internet Superstars,the theory of media spectacle is applied to explore four existing media spectacles,including e-commercialization and entertainment of media;Internet superstar economization and daily live streaming.In Chapter IV Content analysis of Internet Superstar Derivation,it comments Internet superstars who are the public focus in the view of their own consumption;furthermore to comment Internet superstar as the opinion leader in the view of interpersonal communication.In Chapter V Analysis of the Influenced Audience,it discusses the conformity of netizen and the behavior of fan.The research attempted for the further cultural explanation of Internet superstars to better understand the modern era and the actual social situation by exploring the cultural significance and value for existence of Internet superstars.It also aims to reveal the cultural demand of Chinese netizen.
