In recent years,with the acceleration of the globalization,the improvement of China's international status,the friendly and stable development of China-Philippines relations,and the Philippine Chinese education has flourished.Under the development opportunities of the new era,,the Chinese in the Philippines are getting closer to their country of origin,the more attention they attach to the study of Chinese and Chinese culture of their children.However,at this time,the main teaching object of Chinese schools in the Philippines--Chinese teenagers appeared some new characteristics under the background of root-seeking culture in the new era:These new generations of Chinese-Filipino have been greatly integrated into the local mainstream society.They do not know much about the family's own immigration history and culture of the country of origin.Most of the knowledge about Chinese culture is learned from the Chinese relatives or school classes.They do not have a strong impression of their country of origin,and the Chinese gene in their blood is also weakened.Nevertheless,they retain a feeling of closeness for Chinese culture,which makes them still interested in learning Chinese.Local Chinese schools in the Philippines not only shoulder the important responsibility of teaching Chinese,but also undertake the mission of spreading Chinese culture.Therefore,the author believes that we should pay more attention to the teaching Chinese culture in Chinese schools of Philippine,enhance the Chinese cultural identity of Chinese-Filipino teenagers,so that they will not lose themselves in the two-way cultural exchanges between China and the Philippines,but establish a vision of cultural globalization and construct a concept of two-way cultural exchanges in multi-cultural exchanges.This article takes the Chinese-Filipino teenagers as the teaching object,combined with the author's internship experience in a Chinese school in the Philippines.Through the questionnaire survey of Chinese-Filipino teenagers and interviews with volunteer teachers,On this basis,this paper will carry out the research and design of Chinese culture teaching,and give the Chinese culture teaching countermeasures and practice paths for Chinese-Filipino teenagers.This article will try to revitalize cultural awareness of the roots of Chinese-Filipinoteenagers,arouse their interest in learning Chinese and Chinese culture,innovate methods to teaching Chinese culture,enhance the Chinese-Filipino teenagers cognition of Chinese culture,and to promote the formation of the unique FilipinoChinese culture.Furthermore,it is expected to some enlightenment to the overseas Chinese culture teaching.
