The bank's annual report is an information-type text that reviews the business conditions within the specified date, allowing the customers and shareholders to master the bank's profit, loss, and corporate strategy. It is the responsibility and obligation of listed companies to provide social responsibility reports or annual reports to the China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Stock Exchange every year.As the primary carrier of externcal information communication and the main carrier of informaticon disclosure, the translation quality of the annual report will directly affect the potential investors'impression on the enterprise, thus affecting its image and subsequent development. This report, based on the translation practice of China C.onstruction Bank 2017 A.nnual Report, aims to find solutions to the translation problems encountered at lexical, syntactical, and texltual levels in the translation process by analyzing the register, generic and stylistic features of the annual report text type in frame of reference to Juliane-louse's(2015)newly proposed Traraslation Quality Assessment model. The report concludes by summarizing translation methods such as paraphrase, omission, acculturation at lexical level;combination, voice change at syntactical level;and reference, substitution, paraphrase and omission at textual level, thus achieve functional equivalence at all levels when translating such texts as annual reports in the hope of providing reference for translators who translate the same text type in the future.
