In the wave of capitalist globalization,geo-consciousness,regional studies,and identity have gradually entered the field of film research and cultural imagination.The emergence of a film culture is established by the combination of politics,society,economy and aesthetics.It is necessary to use an open historical view to clarify the relationship between film phenomenon and social environment.The film not only achieves the relationship between the sound and the painting,but also seeks the imagination and identity of the local space,historical memory and discourse writing in an innovative way in the history and memory under the vision of modernity.Taiwan,in the development of modern times,faces the contradiction of ethnic integration,the collision of traditional culture with modern cities,the suppression of political will and the debate of historical facts.The village has become the meeting point of these conflicts.In the 1980 s,Taiwan created a unique film phenomenon in the village movie in a special political atmosphere,economic environment,and cultural development climate.From the overall pattern,the 1983 film of the village has created a high-profile "starting" for the entire process of the film of the village,but due to the political will.In1991,after the release of the last film of the village," A Brighter Summer Day",which was influenced by the new film movement,the film of the village seemed to be unable to revolve because of political changes,it accelerated urban modernization,and the overall smashing of the film industry falling down.The article takes the film works of the village as the starting point,upholds the open concept of film history,the background of the film from the movie of the village,the movie of the village of the new film movement in Taiwan,and the theme and aesthetic features of the film of the village in the new film period.The profile and characteristics of film and the interpretation of the phenomenon of "high opening and low walking" in the film of the village,through the description and the extension of the film phenomenon of the village to examine and explain its core,and deductive and inductive path.
