In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties,some of the adherents of the old kingdom were deeply concerned about the death of their artists.Without the ability to change the status quo,they can only choose to stay away from the mortal world,go into the empty door and practice Zen painting,which greatly enrich the literati painting with Zen.Kun was one of the explorers.He used to be a master of the ancient times,and his concept of Zen painting deeply influenced the artistic creation of many painters in later ages.Unlike other painters of the same period,Kun was a voluntary convert and fond of Buddhism.At the same time,Buddhism has a deep understanding and cognition of Zen Buddhism,so we can feel his understanding and feeling of Zen in Kun Can's paintings.In his landscape paintings,we can not only find traces of the former composition,pen and ink.It was the combination of these factors that made Kun the only one in the history of painting that created the magic of Creation and the infiltration of Zen thought.Through the methods of literature,comparative law,case analysis and theoretical research,this paper combines the background of Kun's life,human factors and the aesthetic trend of landscape painting at that time.This paper attempts to analyze the cause of formation of Kun's "old and strong" landscape paintings from different angles and levels and from different perspectives and then to explore its value and influence on the balance between the Shigu and the innovation,the respect and love to the natural mountains and rivers,and the unremitting pursuit of the spiritual freedom.This paper starts with the life of Kun and starts with the ancient masters of Dharma,Calligraphy and Painting,Poetry and Painting,and Zen and Painting,and so on,from the five aspects of Kun's life.This paper analyzes the cause of formation of Kun's "old and strong" landscape painting.Combined with Kun's landscape paintings,he starts with the composition,the pen,the inking,the whiteness and the artistic conception of the five aspects.This paper analyzes how the landscape painting,whichis independent of the painting world,moves from simple lines and ink pieces to the deep and old.
